Jordan Swiskow PMHNP-BC

I’m a board-certified (ANCC) psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP) in California. I am trained in ketamine-assisted psychotherapy (KAP). I am also a registered yoga teacher!!

I’ve been working as a PMHNP for over 4 years now & I worked as a Registered Nurse for 10+ years prior. I have experience in a variety of mental health settings including inpatient psychiatric hospitals, residential facilities, partial hospitalization & intensive outpatient programs, community mental health centers, and a non-profit mental health cooperative. Some of the specialized populations that I have more experience with are eating disorders & LGBTQIA+

I sought out KAP as a patient after years of traditional psychotherapy & psychotropic medications (both of which DID help me immensely). As someone who suffers from anxiety, the idea of having a controlled dose in a safe environment was crucial to me. In my first session I felt a great sense of expansion & of unity with the universe. It seemed that I was accessing part of my psyche that I hadn't ever before.

Soon after my own KAP experience, I signed up for an immersive training retreat through Inbodied Life which included experiential ketamine sessions, psychopharmacology education, and lectures with experts like Dr Carl Hart & Rick Doblin. My training focused heavily on psychotherapy & integration and was led by licensed therapists & medical professionals.
